Literature Text

"Eternal Lord, God,
who alone spreadest out the heavens,
and rulest the raging of the sea;
who hast compassed the waters with bounds,
until day and night come to an end;
Be pleased to receive into thy Almighty and most gracious protection,
the persons of us thy servants"

.....................................................................

Bury me at sea
Drown this heart flooded with misery
Devoid my lungs of breath
And throw me from the abyss of death

Bury me in the deep
Where I promise I'll forever sleep
Let my corpse sway with the tide
Where I'll wait for my loving bride

Bury me in the ocean
Where my soul will fly free though my body has no motion
And all sorrow will cease from me
When I'm buried at sea

Throw me to the waves
Before I long for dreamless graves
You will lay to rest my loneliness
As life itself became my illness

And if you ever see
A heart as poor as the one you saw in me
Then bury him at sea
So I can rest in peace with company
It's another poem about the sea and it's not a coincidence that it resembles the way I feel..
The "intro" to the poem , between quote marks it taken from the common prayer to people who die in the sea

Beautiful lament...can almost hear the sound of breaking waves and wailing wind...
